X.O. Fine Champagne
A blend of two iconic Champagne wines: Grande and Petite.
Matured in oak barrels and blended facing the ocean in La Rochelle, in the west of France, it retains the Atlantic character inherited from our forebears.
It conjures up long merchant expeditions on the Atlantic Ocean, the English Channel and the Baltic, and our family’s strong bond with the sea and the countries of the Hanseatic League. This earned Gédéon-Louis Godet an appointment as Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Dutch Navy in the 18th century.
Strong, complex and heavy with a violet nose and a scent of jasmine and a fruity hint of prune, honey and Russian leather in the mouth. Very long “old cognac” mouthfeel but with fresh subtle aromas.

Tasting
Nose with delicate notes of jasmine and violet, followed by the scent of honey, plum and old leather. Freshness and aromatic subtlety in the mouth, which gives way to a deep rancio, combined with aromatic notes.
